Best Buddies Qatar’s College Program recently delivered an educational awareness lecture on the vision and mission of Best Buddies Qatar, its services, and its efforts to raise public awareness within the country’s educational institutions—schools and universities—regarding the rights of persons with disabilities. The lecture targeted a large number of students at Foundation University, aiming to raise awareness of the rights of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to social inclusion, while highlighting the concepts of inclusion, supportive communication, and integration on the university campus.
